The Delta club at Loma Arena
El pasado mes de julio el Centro Cultural Delta realizó una convivencia de labor social en Lomita Arena, un corregimiento ubicado en el municipio de Santa Catalina (Bolívar), a 47 km al noreste de Cartagena de Indias.
On the occasion of the National Coexistence of Youth Clubs on the Caribbean Coast, the young people of the Delta Club and the Timonel Cultural Center wore #Letsgettowork and with an unbreakable will they managed to carry out maintenance (cleaning, sanding and painting) to 200 desks belonging to the Institution Educativa of Loma Arena, allowing that in the future the students of this school can take their classes in the best conditions.
Likewise, and with the support of parents and the management of the Cultural Centers, the volunteers delivered markets for the school children and their families.
The National Coexistence of Clubs is a project aimed at young people who participate in the means of formation of Youth Clubs, whose activities have the Christian orientation of Opus Dei in Colombia. On this occasion, the participants stayed at the Bonga Events Center, in order to carry out social work activities in the village of Loma Arena. This is a suitable space to practice sports and role-playing games, share with new friends and enjoy a good time of prayer.
